Strategic Plan

We want your feedback!

Northbank Community Garden volunteers have been working hard to develop a draft Strategic Plan to capture our vision, mission and key plans for the next 5-10 years, as well as our longer term aspirations. So far, we have consulted with the council and local businesses in two sets of focus groups where we gathered suggestions and looked at opportunities and challenges. Now we want to hear from the whole community about what your hopes and ideas are for this great community space and to see what you think about our draft plan.

The development of this Plan has been made possible by the generous support of the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and hardworking local volunteers.

Building food resilience for the whole community

Northbank is a 5-acre organic, not-for-profit community garden on Gumbaynggirr Country that holds a special place in the hearts of the Bellingen community. The permaculture-designed garden contains fruit trees, medicinal and culinary herbs, communal gathering spaces, a kitchen, a composting toilet, and large garden plots for rent.

The garden is located at 100 Northbank Road, Bellingen, NSW

Come and forage for your lunch today, or join us at our next workshop or garden day, we'd love to see you.
